On November 20, 2020 at approximately 9:15 PM, 41 year-old, Waterbury, Connecticut native, Damien Weaver was struck and killed by a car while he was attempting to cross Chase Ave. He was my friend and mutually-proclaimed Godbrother.
On December 5th, I eulogized Damien and the host of other faceless and nameless Black men who are buried underneath the weight of their past, but who strive and fight, often patiently, to climb from the depths of their catacombs in search of LIGHT!
